Acadia Birding Festival

Location: American Legion Building, 22 Village Green, Southwest Harbor

Join fellow bird enthusiasts for the 23rd annual festival in Acadia. There are dozens of field trips, including a Pelagic Seabird Boat Trip, lectures, and workshops. Registration is required in advance, and a parking pass to Acadia National Park is required for some field trips.

Jazz in June

Date: June 17, 2022

This year’s jazz is limited to two concerts, one in June and one in August. The June concert is the Brubeck Brothers Quartet and the guitar duo of Martin Taylor and Frank Vignola.

Bucksport Pride

Location: Bucksport Waterfront Walkway, Bucksport

Although Bucksport supports a month-long celebration of affirmation and dignity, they also have a one-day party with music, food, speakers, and vendors.

Arts in the Park

Location: Steamboat Landing Park, 34 Commercial St, Belfast

Returning for its 26th year, Belfast’s Arts in the Park is well known for its arts and fine crafts. The location is jaw-dropping, right on the water’s edge, which will make
everything taste, sound, and look even better. There will be more than six live music acts to enjoy throughout the weekend.

4th of July -Searsport

Although many neighboring communities have parades and fireworks, we like our local Searsport celebration. Awesome fireworks, a great parade, and morning donuts followed by an evening barbecue.

Bucksport Bay Festival

Local 4th of July celebration includes a boat parade, pageant, fireworks, and maybe a rubber duck race.

Maine International Film Festival

Location: 3 movie theaters in Waterville, including a drive-in

Orrington Old Home Week

Maine Celtic Celebration

Belfast Harbor Fest and Boat Show
