It’s that time of year when our guests gather around one of our crackling fireplaces to chat with one another and plot their day’s activities. The winter months bring snow flurries, mulled wine and an array of snowy activities, from the US National Toboggan Championships to the magical Winter Carnival. Now that the snow has thawed and the flowers are abloom, it’s time to welcome in one of the most idyllic times of the year. Yes, spring has sprung in Searsport and our neighboring communities with music festivals, art shows and flowers abloom.

Summer and the living is easy. This is truly the most wonderful time of the year with warm days and star-filled nights. There’s something for everyone, from lobster festivals and Celtic pride to a breadth of musical concerts and community celebrations. There are also antique shows and culinary gatherings.

When the temperatures start to cool off here in Searsport, things begin to heat up with the arrival of autumn. From spooktacular attractions starting in October to the spectacular fall foliage. There’s plenty of reasons to give thanks during this time of year.
